Tony Jordy If, as suggested in that article, his issue is lack of weight meaning his tyres don't get hot enough, why do the team not simply ballast his bike? There's no maximum weight limit, so if the solution is that simple why haven't they done it?

Peter Warner I agree that the winglets looks seriously rubbish on a GP machine and fully accept the possible safety issues (especially if a crashed bike re-enters the track and they have been damaged) but..... the 'winged era' does appear to have produced some of the best racing we have seen in years. Hmmm......
